DEVOTED to bringing back traditional cooking techniques, Sisterfields prepares almost all of their cuisines from scratch, including their buttermilk, ricotta and preserves. They also smoke their meats and fish inside their rooftop smoker.
INTERIOR: The boutique café has a modern décor with an indoor seating area, al fresco seating on the front terrace and a shady courtyard area at the back.
The Offer: Introducing Sisterfields’ newly created dishes! The list consists of a selection of new salads, each one rich in flavor, as well as their Slipper Lobster Scrambled Eggs, Black Pudding Croquette and the Turkish Poached Eggs – to mention just a few. GRASSROOTS Pantry was founded to improve healthy-eating habits of the community it belongs. Their kitchen serves homemade, “farm-to-table” plates to support the slow food movement, which has won several accolades, including the Foodie Forks Award 2014 Veritable Vegetarian Reader’s Choice, Crave Magazine Dining Awards 2014 – Health Nuts and CNN Travel Best New Restaurant 2012. In 2014, Chef Peggy Chan and her team established a new similar concept, which combines healthy and tasty food with workshop and speedy delivery called Prune Catering.
INTERIOR: White-washed walls with greens and vintage-looking décors make Grassroots Pantry a warm space to share delicious meals with loved ones.
The Offer: The café offers in-season menu to adapt with the availability of local ingredients. Sharing the same passion of the owner, both Grassroots Pantry and Prune Catering create vegetarian dishes such as Spring Risotto, Kale Caesar with Shiitake Mushrooms and Almond croutons and light bites of canapés and vegetarian truffles.

SPOONFUL ZAKKA CAFE
BAKER Jib-Sitanan Wuttivej wants to create another world within her café as much as she wishes to spread her love for homemade desserts. Spoonful Zakka Café imagines their café/ shop to be the place to run away from the rush of the city and find the calm and comfort in every spoonful of their baking goodness.
INTERIOR: Once you enter the red-framed door of the café, you will surround yourself with the little things that make up the space: tableware, handmade utensils, stationary, umbrella and many others that are used daily in this shop. They are made of walnut wood, oak wood and mango wood and they are for sale.
The Offer: Spoonful Zakka Café’s signature menu is Scone. There are several flavors of scones for different seasons. Jib created the original cream of the scones and the whole items on the menu herself. The café has more than 30 types of tea that you may try. If you are thirsty for something else, however, opt for their favorite drink called Matcha Chocolate Shake, or a cup of coffee.
