Who is Muhammad Nurul Hudha?
Father of Kilau Kinar Hudha, Husband of Anggia Bonyta.
How did your interest in photography begin?
I was introduced by my father who loves photography and he often produced his own photos when we were still using the black and white film rolls. I had my first camera, Nikon D70 DSLR, after I was employed. Afterward, I learned to take pictures, and then I was taught better techniques by my in-law who happens to be a professional photographer. Since 2010, I started to learn how to use analog and today I often use analog more than the digital one.
What is the primary object that you always love to capture?
Basically, I take pictures of anything: my daughter, my family, people in the street, scenery, or whatever captures my interest. But, I often hunt for images in Bandung. I often take pictures of the streets in Bandung, the life of many train stations in Bandung, the markets and of any livelihood in Bandung. Sometimes, I go out of town if the time allows me to take a picture.
Tell us a bit about Nepal and what interested you?
I have been wanting to go to Nepal for quite a while. I was finally able to realize it on November 2014 with my two friends. It’s clear what makes Nepal so special: its Himalayan Mountains! However, the thing that mostly captures my interest is its “colors.” Nepal is very colorful. We can see these colors in their landscape, the typical of the locals, the color of their clothes, the color of their homes and even to the color of their vehicles.
Why did you choose Nepal for your list?
Maybe it’s because I was influenced by photography-related websites and books, which often become my references. Nepal is very exotic; it is a dream to go there. Nepal, India, Afghanistan, Africa and Iceland are all frequent objects of photographers around the world. I always dreamt of going to all of those places one day.
Any exciting plans for you in the near future?
I would love to go to Penang with my daughter and wife this year and take pictures of the streets.
What can you tell us about your instagram feed?
It is the representation of my interest towards the realm of photography where I can upload any images I like.
What has changed after you started using instagram?
Instagram provides me with many new friends with the same hobby and it makes me love photography even more. Through instagram, my photos are awarded with Rupiah, just like a pro. 😉
