// THE HERMITAGE //
WHAT’S OLD IS NEW AGAIN
—The Story: It would be hard to tell the Hermitage’s whole history, because the 5-star hotel has a very long one. The hotel occupies an Art Deco style building from the Dutch colonial era, which was many other things—including a ministry and a university—before it was finally turned into the Hermitage, the only hotel in the city to be affiliated with Leading Hotels of the World. Even with the alterations, the Hermitage still maintains its vintage ambience.
—Rooms: 90 rooms and suites; 68 of which feature separate living rooms. Standard amenities—which include 40” flat screen HDTVs, media hubs, complimentary internet and deluxe pillow top mattresses—are available.
—Eating & Drinking: L’Avenue ethno-brasserie; Hermitage Lounge; Courtyard Café; La Vue rooftop bar.
