HOTEL CLOVER 769 NORTH BRIDGE ROAD
THE boutique hotel is a vintage building constructed between 1840 and 1960. The hotel’s showcases the architecture of the era, with signs of the former shops that occupy the building still attached to its walls. The hotel is situated in Kampong Glam, in which trails of Sultan Hussein can be reminisced.
INTERIOR: The hotel lobby is a communal space adorned with a large wooden desk, a restored hair salon high-backed chair and vintage ornaments such as a gramophone, a rotary dial telephone, a fan and a typewriter, set against the white backdrop of the wall, floor and ceiling. This vintage look can also be seen in their bar and lounge, where 1960s homey atmosphere resonates throughout.
