The team focuses on building ideas, assisting in searching for fitting investors, developing design plans and other technical supports needed to ensure a WOW-ing operation within its brands. Its hospitality expertise is not only limited to bed and breakfast; Avilla has also spread its wings to Food & Beverage and spa industries. Who are you and what is your position in Avilla Hospitality team?
My name is Henry Setiono. I am the Chief Operating Officer of Avilla Hospitality.
What is the philosophy of Avilla Hospitality?
Avilla Hospitality Management & Development has a vision to be Bali’s local champion in hospitality management. Since its establishment in 2010, Avilla Hospitality has inspired and managed 12 brands. The everyday challenge is conquered through our beliefs. We believe that collaboration between senior and junior generations will fulfill Avilla’s mission, which is to learn, grow and share happiness that “WOW!” our friends, stakeholders and operation team. Ultimately, the mission is meant to help Avilla in building a professional and dynamic character, a creative mind and a fun working atmosphere.
What is your goal in 2015 for Avilla Hospitality?
Our goal this year is to strengthen our Bali Original Characters onto our services in every unique property that we manage. Also, we want to integrate all of our diverse brands into one collection of unique brands in Bali. By doing so, we wish to reach our next goal: to become Bali Smart traveler friends.
What are the next steps for Avilla Hospitality?
To create an integrated hospitality in Bali that can deliver happiness to all our friends during their trip in Bali.
Is there any exciting new properties?
Within this year, 2015, Avilla will launch thematic surfer hotel in Brawa called Koa Surfer Hotel, Canggu and thematic youngster hotel at Raya Kuta called Berry Glee Hotel.
Personally, what does HOSPITALITY means to you?
Hospitality means a special treatment to a customer/guest that may bring them happiness. Hospitality should be able to provide a second home to the guests. In Avilla Hospitality, we would like to make our hotel as their second home.
How do you define a GOOD HOTEL?
A good hotel is where the guests feel at home. They are greeted by their first name. They feel safe and happy.
Which hotel is your major brand and why it is selected?
Berry Group. It caters for young smart travellers who embrace stylish design and lifestyle and value for money accommodation, while at same time offers unique experiences that answer to their needs.
